A woman who gave Tristan Thompson “a special birthday surprise” in March while he was still dating Khloe Kardashian slapped the Sacramento Kings forward with a paternity lawsuit. The Daily Mail reported Friday Maralee Nichols, 31, sued Thompson for child support.
Nichols, who is due to give birth Friday, alleges the baby was conceived in a Houston hotel during Thompson’s 30th birthday celebration in March, according to court records obtained by the newspaper. The Daily Mail noted that, at the time, Thompson was still dating Kardashian, the mother of his 3-year-old daughter, True. Thompson also has a 4-year-old son, Prince, with model Jordan Craig.
Nichols is a personal trainer who recently moved from Houston to Los Angeles. In his declaration to the court, Thompson said he had sex with Nichols twice, but her lawyers allege the affair began five months before his birthday and continued after that, the Daily Mail reports.
The newspaper cited court documents in which Thompson explained he and Nichols attended a party together before returning to his hotel, where she had “a special birthday surprise for him,” saying he knew that meant sex.
Thompson has had an on-and-off relationship with Kardashian since 2016. Thompson and Kardashian split up in February 2019 after three highly publicized cheating scandals. They later reconciled but broke up again in June, according to various reports.

When the Kings visited the Memphis Grizzlies on Sunday, a fan was ejected from FedExForum for reportedly making comments to Thompson about the Kardashians.
“Per multiple people around the fan that was thrown out of the Grizzlies game tonight, he was tossed because he was making comments about the Kardashian family in the direction of Tristan Thompson,” the Daily Memphian’s Drew Hill tweeted. Interim Kings coach Alvin Gentry addressed the incident following his team’s 128-101 loss to the Grizzlies.
